I agree with the categorization of Palin's selection by McCain as tokenism as far as it applies to an attempt to woo supposedly disenchanted female Clinton supporters. If I thought Lieberman was being selected for a position simply to court a Jewish demographic irrespective of any other policy considerations, I'd brand that selection tokenism, too.
